Obviously my name is Robert Banker, I am 36 years old and live in the great city of Novi, Michigan. So my dad always showed me through his grit and determination that giving up wasn’t an option. He would start a project and when he became frustrated because he didn’t figure it out he’d get angry. But 5 minutes later he fixed the problem, because he taught himself how to work on cars and woodworking because he couldn’t afford for anyone else to do it. During the COVID 19 Shutdown of all GYMs in Michigan I became reconnected to things like fishing, kayaking and spending time outdoors.
My mother had jobs and was always employed then I was born and diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. So realistically, when your child that is your only child is made of glass you want to protect him. So my mom stopped working to take care of me and ensure I didn’t get hurt, but it didn’t help me not break bones. When I started having friends and going to school, I once broke my tibia because I ran into my boy on the playground. When I was 15 I taught myself how to make Wrestling News websites back before I finished High School or went to College. I then lost interest in doing websites and media and thought it became way too hard to perform.
Going back to the whole theme of the pandemic, I one day was playing with Adobe Spark Post and then discovered with my current student status at Schoolcraft College I could get a discount on Adobe Creative Cloud. I self taught/learned on my own Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Rush, Premiere Pro, Audition and After Effects since October 2020. I also learned Audio Engineering and Editing on my own in addition to that, my video recording is not perfect but my editing is. I am constantly pushing myself to improve and learn new skills.
