5 years after joining the greatest team in NFL history (Detroit Rams) a 37 year old Matthew Stafford is contemplating retiring.

So that means in an alternative world where Stafford never left the Lions, we’d be losing our quarterback. Instead of the plush talent acquired for Stafford from The Rams and their draft picks. No idea if we would have Jameson Williams, Jahmyr Gibbs or any other the talented pieces that surround Jared Goff. Who we know for a fact wouldn’t be here if Stafford stayed.
Personally I started to hate Stafford after he left Detroit and how the broadcasters acted like he was suddenly God.
At least the Stafford love fest and odd comments will be over with if he does retire.
