In 2020 one day I impulse bought the Kodak PixPro AZ528 because I wanted a camera for YouTube and it was the early post pandemic days. I didn’t have much money and I had previously only had a Fuji digital camera that I got on a really good deal at Meijer. So both of these cameras lacked what I really needed and wanted, which was the ability to use it as a webcam or add an external mic.
As I’ve been recovering old articles and video links, I have realized that Pix Pro AZ528 was the biggest hit of my entire attempt at online content. So this article is a combination and correction of all that info and hopefully a more organized and clean version.
I did fall in love with the Kodak Astro Zoom AZ528, I loved the zoom and the easy ability of switching between video and photos. I learned a lot about technology from attempting to use that camera as a content creation device. The only way to use it as a webcam is to get a HDMI card for your laptop and a video output cord to link to it. You can not add an external microphone to it.
But this camera’s zoom feature is so awesome, I would highly recommend buying it. It’s also the only Camera that’s name brand that you can buy with FHD 1080 for under $200.
For 2020 to 2022s technology and times, This camera IMO is a landslide victory for 200 dollars considering you can’t get a 1080 on another camera in a store.

The photos that I am taking are from Kensington Metroparks and various areas in Oakland County. Kensington Metroparks is public. Pay to enter the park. Located in Milford and South Lyon, Michigan in Oakland County. It is based around Kensington Lake and its many offset ponds and water flow. The park is sprawling, the same Lake picks up in many different locations with Hans of different assets. These are some of the best. Waterfowl, AKA birds in animals in our area. The purpose of taking these photos is to learn how to use the Kodak Explorer AZ 528 zoom feature.
