The First Amendment or GTFO

While the radical left stops at nothing to enhance big government regulations on everyday life, we should not allow the government to dictate to us what types of bags can be used in our shopping. Personally, Jesus himself aka Ronald Wilson Reagan said “government isn’t the answer to our problem it is the problem”. I worked at Meijer for years and in terms of space, plastic bags at a large quantity take up way less space than paper bags. The case of them also weigh less creating less risk for workers of getting hurt stocking them up for use. The government’s responsibility is to provide safety, public services and ensure that the common person can feed themselves and their family. However, it is a radical liberal overreach to ban plastic straws or bags. Global warming is a left wing conspiracy theory, that we probably can’t reverse in our lifetimes if it is real life. Unlike MSNBC host Rachel Maddow’s dreams or maybe reality, we are a free society that promotes individualism and freedom of choice. This isn’t to start off a South Dakota Kristie Noem script for a commercial about South Dakota meaning business, it’s to state what the framers had in mind when they wrote the constitution.

Now the aldi model for plastic and paper bags is a clear example of individual choice.

Paper costs 7 cents Plastic costs 10 cents, or you bring your own bag and avoid this charge. This is how it should be handled, leave several options to the consumer and allow the consumer to make the choice. When the citizens are treated like children and told what they can do, it creates even more division than was previously in place. Gretchen Whitmer banning church services but opening bars and gyms creates public perception that she doesn’t care about freedom to practice religion. Governments can try to create certain policies for stopping littering, but recycling programs have been running for years. There has been great success in these efforts, however plastic shopping bags may be harder to recycle as some people use them for household trash bags or for their cat litter. I’m the second part, I use the plastic bags to put my cats waste into the bag and then throw it out. Literally at any moment Gretchen Whitmer may release another pointless executive order, like she has multiple times this year. To summarize my personal opinion on this, looking at the map its just failing left wing states that have really enacted a serious crackdown on plastic bags. But cutting to my overall take on this, the government should allow private enterprise to decide what type of bags are offered or allow us to buy the bag so we can choose. Whole Foods feels elite because the paper bags are the only choice and they happen to be quality overall paper bags. Both types of bags fail, in fact I typed that and remembered my Whole Foods bag handles came off during its maiden voyage home from the store.

Mass mail out voter registration, mass automatic voter registration is simply a failed idea that will lead to corruption without a shadow of a doubt. Simply put, voting is a privilege and participating in our elections is key to a government that is for and by the people. You simply can’t just let everyone register because that means that between today and November 3rd I could go door to door and hand out 20s to people to go vote and then give them more money when they walk out of the voting precinct. We saw today the Lancaster  Pennsylvania 3 ballots that were for Trump were thrown out.  We can not allow for any person’s ballot to be rejected via the mail or for any voter manipulation.Mass mail out voter registration, mass automatic voter registration is simply a failed idea that will lead to corruption without a shadow of a doubt. person’s ballot to be rejected via the mail or for any voter manipulation. Yes many people don’t care enough to vote, but we can’t allow them to be influenced by any bad actors. There is a ton of money pumped into politics, just imagine if Hillary Clinton could have just bought votes, she would have done everything in her power to win.

Our election is a sacred system, every single person being registered to vote leaves us open to corruption. For instance some religions ban participation in voting, which is fine because it is a choice. Some people aren’t obsessed with politics like I am, those people aren’t informed on the issues to make a great choice. We can’t have people voting for Biden just because they hate Trump and vice versa. The state is the protector and administrator of our elections, they should allow people to make free and open choices to vote or not. I personally feel Joclyn Benson mailing out mass absentee ballot requests is fine, but if everyone had a ballot someone could vote in the place of someone else. The state needs to make sure that the elections are held properly and without any outside influence corrupting them. We have to continue to ensure that there is no foul play in our elections, because honestly nobody wants to wait through recounts and supreme court rulings to find out who won. The sooner we either get past Trump or the sooner he knows he won, the less tweets, Fox News interviews and arguing from him we all will have to witness. Personally, to me it doesn’t matter if Biden wins we will still have division and anger towards whoever is President. We just have to come together to make sure we make our political system work for everyone regardless of race or gender.

While there are many issues that separate liberals and conservatives, or for the sake of modern days.. The Radical Left and The Radical Right. Currently the Supreme Court vacancy is causing an extreme split in our political system. Why? Ruth Bader-Ginsburg was a jurist who viewed the constitution as a living document that can be updated and changed based upon the situation or issue at hand. Republicans view the Constitution as something that is meant word for word in the sense of when it was written and not open for interpretation based on changes in society. This goes to things like gay marriage, which I personally have no problem with and abortion something that shockingly doesn’t really bother me. Both of these issues challenge the ideology of both parties. Currently our biggest non Coronavirus issue is global warming and carbon emissions. Trump’s base is mainly blue collar poor to middle class white people who have lost jobs in older industries like coal mining and manual labor manufacturing jobs. A quick reference to this would be to search on youtube any documentary about West Virginia coal mining. Trump dominated West Virginia in 2016 on his promise of reopening coal plants and mines thus bringing jobs back to these people. Alexandria (Sandy)  Orcasio Cortez sometimes referred to as the real speaker of the house, along with Bernard Sanders wrote what is called The Green New Deal. Which calls for cutting carbon emissions out and taking us away from fossil fuels and to electric cars and wind/solar power.

Personally, I know that technology over time will produce new jobs that will replace the jobs that are lost in these industries. Also I know that the human toll on the health and wellness of these workers is terrible and many of these people died early or horrible deaths after long term illness. The ideology in this lies in conservatives not really caring about Climate Change and Liberals obsessing with it. We don’t know if we can actually do enough to reverse the course, however we also can’t shut down our economy again. Also as time goes on people who have muscle cars and classics will not want to part with them. Obamas clunker buy back program was smart because it took those cars off the roads and incentivised people to get new cars. This also made the automakers sell more cars aka putting more money into the pockets of these companies so that they could pay their workers. The government technically made back the money on the incentives because people paid taxes on the new vehicles and on the earnings made by the company. However the government should not interfere in private business or incentivise one industry while not helping others. This is a capitalist country that is meant for the government to not hand out money to companies or citizens.

Personally, I know that sometimes the government has to help private citizens for the greater good. Another thing that is strongly debated is government overreaching and providing money to citizens that desperately need it. I consider this not to be an over reach, however many conservatives call it socialism or communism to hand out money to citizens even if they are poor. The coronavirus stimulus is something that pits the two parties and their two ideologies apart. Moreover it also separates the moderates of both parties from their more extreme party members. The extra unemployment benefit some people like me who worked in fitness or other industries Govenor Whitmer closed, has been a hot button issue. President Trump stepped around congress by using FEMA money that is at his discretion for emergencies to help those who needed it. Republican Senators and Congress members felt that this was incentivizing people not to work. For me personally I knew that the money was meant to help me survive while using what I didn’t need to stimulate the economy. By buying private goods for my family and myself to eat, have shelter and to take care of things that were needed for everyday life. The conservative viewpoint is always anything people get for free is a socialist move or a hand out and then they worry about taxes and the long term impact of paying it back. Democrats view the national debt as something well deal with one day. Personally, I feel we can never pay it off and having some debt is good. One day we will be able to have a more balanced society, but it will take us working together to get there.
